I've had a keen interest in photography all my adult life and my first camera was a Zenit EM. This was followed a year or so later by a Canon AE-1. My passion was rekindled back in 2007 and I'm now enjoying my photography more than ever.

In May 2012 I was awarded the British Photographic Exhibitions (BPE) 1 crown certificate, and in March 2013 I received my second crown award.

In April 2013 I achieved the Credit of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (CPAGB).

In December 2016 I replaced all my Canon gear with a Fujifilm XT-2 and additional Fujinon lenses.

"It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer. You need less imagination to be a painter, because you can invent things. But in photography everything is so ordinary; it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the ordinary." - David Bailey - In "Face," (London), Dec 1984.
